Our client, a national provider of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, requires experienced OTs to provide assessment and treatment for their locations. While physiotherapy remains a core service, Occupational Therapy is integral in supporting their clients’ physical and psycho-social recovery. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient clinic with virtual and in-person services. Focusing on quality care and outcomes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Assessment and treatment planning for individuals with musculoskeletal, neurological, cognitive, and psychological issues

Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans

Performance of functional capacity and cognitive abilities evaluations, job demands analysis, pre-employment assessments, attendant care, and job coaching

Ongoing evaluation of client’s progress and contribution to team meetings, case conferences and identifying objective, measurable goals

Client education related to their injury/recovery

Supporting return-to-work programs, job demands analysis, ergonomic and pre- employment assessments

Supervision of OT students when required

Utilizing e-charting software for documentation purposes Managing a caseload in a fast-paced environment Communication with all stakeholders in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

Experience in assessing and treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions

Experience in assessment and treatment of injured workers

Experience in developing and monitoring return to work planning in collaboration with third-party funders

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, as part of an interdisciplinary team

Ability to utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and to submit timely reports to all stakeholders

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle required Bilingual French / English an asset
